Würzburg and its surrounding area
Since the hotel and restaurant “Zur Stadt Mainz” is centrally
located, you can reach the City’s sights within easy walking distance.
The Residenz of the former Prince Bishops, the Cathedral, the Neumünster
Church, the market square, Saint Mary’s Chapel, the House of the Falcon,
the train station and the theater can be reached in 5 to 10 minutes.
For a walk to the historical Old Main River Bridge you will need 15
minutes. It takes you about 30 minutes to climb up to the Marienberg Fortress.
Upon arrival at the top of the hill you will have a fascinating view over
the City of Würzburg with its numerous church towers.
